I'm Back - Had to think things through
I took time away because the fact of the matter is that no one gives a flying fuck about anything that isn't about how to look pretty or "feel" good. The entire precept of mankind is "how do I get more?" We are wondering why we're so fucked and we aren't even willing to look in the mirror and face who we are and make changes. We are fucked because greed. That's the long and short of it. We're not fucked because of corporations alone. We like saying it's the greed of other people, but we never want to reckon our own greed. We never want to admit that maybe we're the assholes. Maybe we don't NEED a new phone. We don't NEED to have a massive house. We don't NEED a new car with the bells and whistles. We don't NEED to go on vacations all the time. We don't NEED a lot to survive. Not really. I have a theory that the story of Adam and Eve was more about the train wreck of greedy mankind.
